Prayer Ministries

Prayer is a vital part of the Caring Community at Willowbrook. We encourage both members and friends of Willowbrook to participate, whether you are in need of prayer or would like to be part of the prayer team.

The Intercessory Prayer Group meets each Monday morning at 7:47 a.m. in the Library Lounge to pray for church members, constituents, their families and friends, all of whom have special needs. In addition, the group prays for the needs of the church as a whole. New names are added each week and other names removed as prayers are answered and conditions improve. During the week, each member of the Intercessory Prayer Group prays daily for each person on the current list.

The Willowbrook Prayer Chain meets the needs of members and friends of Willowbrook who are in need of immediate prayer because of illness, surgery, loss of a loved one, or some other major crisis in their lives. We know that God hears all our prayers and answers them according to His will. As a call is received it is passed on to four persons, who in turn call three persons, and so on. The "chain of prayer" is fast and effective.
