Ministries for/about Children

Willowbrookers are very involved in outreach ministries for children.

Clothing for needy children is the main function of the KrisKrafters, a group of women who gather regularly to put their talents to work for the Lord. They also produce Afghans and lap robes for the shut-ins of Willowbrook. A valuable byproduct is the forming of good friends and fellowship. The Desert Southwest Conference ministry, Sidewalk Sunday School, is supported by donations of school supplies and Christmas stockings. A van in which to hold Sunday school was also given to this ministry. At Christmas time, gifts are provided to children whose fathers or mothers are in prison, thanks to Willowbrook’s involvement in the Prison Ministries Angel Tree Program.
